| Taking advantage of time off over the year end, Webmaster decided to have a
snoop at the development of what was once, the community's beloved Alexandra
Road shul. If you did not know, a difficult decision was made in year 2000 to
instigate the shul's closure. Although in the community’s best interests, the
sale of this historic building was tinged with sadness. Nevertheless we
had to look forward and recognise future
needs. |

No
better decision could have been made then to sell the building to Bryan and
Jenny Woodford. The building has been converted into a state of the art children's
nursery. Every effort has been made to keep the character of the building where
possible. |
| So along I go, my new digital camera in hand, hoping for an
opportunity to look around. |
