If you want to have a tombstone (stone) cleaned at Stock Road cemetery, contact us. An email is sufficient and you will receive a quick acknowledgement. The shul will liaise with the cemetery administrator who will instigate an inspection by the ground's contractor. After the inspection, the shul will send you a request for authority to carry out the cleaning plus any additional works, if necessary, upon the advice of the contractor. A nominal fee is payable. Once the stone is in good order, you can opt for a bi-annual contract wash, which will be carried out just before Pesach and Rosh Hashanah.
